Third in the Silversea fleet, the  Silver Shadow  cruise ship introduced guests to the next generation of Silversea cruising while maintaining Silversea’s award winning , all-suite luxury and trademark intimate ambience.

Silversea’s Millennium Class ships –  Silver Shadow  and her sister ship  Silver Whisper  – are built with proportions slightly larger in size than their two earlier ships, yet they retain the same level of genuine hospitality.

Silver Shadow ’s 2012 is a study in contrasts from the unique scenery of New Zealand and Australia to the fabled landscapes of the Far East and the wild, natural beauty of summer in Alaska . A special holiday sailing visits magical Bali and spends the year’s 365th day in the crystal blue waters of the magnificent Great Barrier Reef .

Spectacular New Zealand fiords and Australia’s Outback are but two of the unforgettable destinations encountered aboard Silver Shadow  cruises during 2013. In late February  Silver Shadow  travels to Asia to explore the wonders of the Far East until it’s time once again to spend the warmer months surrounded by the majesty of Alaska . Enrichment Programme:   The Silversea experience offers a journey of enlightenment, enjoyment and excitement. With never-ending opportunities to satisfy the thirst for knowledge, aboard Silversea there need never be a dull moment. Silversea’s onboard programme brings together world experts in archaeology, history and anthropology, to provide guests with a fascinating insight into the places they are set to discover. Culinary Arts Programme:   Guest chefs sail on selected voyages. Guests can enjoy a grand gourmet dinner prepared by the guest chef, culinary demonstrations and escorted market tours (subject to suitable venues in ports visited).

	Boutiques:  Featuring designer collections and duty-free shopping, the onboard Boutiques offer a selection of jewellery, fashions, perfumes and Silversea logo items.
	Card Room / Conference Room:  Bridge games and tournaments take place most days in the Card Room. On days at sea, newcomers to the game can learn how to play. Should your group require a conference or meeting space, Silversea is pleased to provide a tailor-made experience. Audio-visual equipment is available and complimentary.
	Casino:  Roulette, blackjack and slot machines are available in The Casino for guests 18 years or older. If you are a novice, come to the champagne reception and learn all the games offered aboard.
	Internet Cafe:  Email friends and family back home or surf the web for a nominal fee. CD burners, headphones, digital camera media readers, and complimentary black and white laser printing are also available.
